individual lessons: in-person & on-line

I give individual lessons for students of every level. Both in-person and on-line.

The lessons are adjusted to the needs of student - whether it's professional goals, developing ability to improvise, learning percussion accompaniment, meditative practice, or boosting rhythmic skills. There is no such thing as 'lack of the sense of the rhythm' or 'lack of musicality'. Everyone has capabilities to practice music in their daily life.

I teach contemporary techniques for lap-style frame drum (known also as mazhar / mizhar / bendir), upper-style frame drum (in some places known as tar, bendir, tof, daf), riq (also written riqq).

for whom are individual lessons? 

For players who are ready to practise independently and go deeper!

One hour with material that lasts weeks — I pack each lesson so that what you take away keeps you engaged and moving forward on your own. My goal isn't just to fill the hour, but to make sure you leave knowing exactly how to continue in the right direction.

What's included in every lesson:

• Full video recording of the session, yours to keep and rewatch
• All written materials covered in the lesson
• Additional video resources to support your practice
• A review of your progress, corrections where needed, and a clear practice plan for the weeks ahead

Individual lessons are the right choice if you want focused attention, a practice structure built around you, and the materials to keep developing between sessions — not just during them.

pricing for individual lessons

• Single 1-hour (60 minute) lesson: €50
• Package of 4 hours in a month (e.g. a 1-hour lesson once a week): €160
• Package of 4 hours in 2 months (e.g. a lesson every 2 weeks): €175

studying together with friends

online lessons

I teach through Zoom. Each lesson is fully recorded and available to the student along with various materials, sheets, and exercises tailored to the level.
